Oblique Aquatic Games
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
A collection of experimental games inspired by Brian Eno’s Oblique Strategies, with an aquatic theme.
Each game concept was randomly generated using an ideation tool that fused a classic game with an Oblique Strategy. The resulting prompts were processed by a Large Language Model, with text and graphics created using OpenAI’s GPT-4, GPT-3, and DALL·E 3.

How to Download and Run the Windows Version 🖥️
Since the executable (.exe) is not code-signed, Windows Defender SmartScreen will show a warning. Follow these steps to proceed:
- Download the
.exefile from Oblique Aquatic Games on Itch.io. - Once downloaded, double-click the file to run it.
- You will see a "Windows protected your PC" screen.
- Click "More info" (see the first image).
- The publisher will appear as "Unknown Publisher" (because it’s not signed).
- After clicking "More info," a "Run anyway" button will appear (see the second image).
- Click "Run anyway" to launch the game.
🔹 This happens because code-signing certificates are expensive, and unsigned applications trigger Windows Defender warnings. The file is safe to run.
